Which airport should you travel from?
From Brockenhurst, Southampton and Bournemouth are both around half an hour away and are the cheapest transfers to reach. Southampton suits short-haul European and domestic connections; Bournemouth covers a smaller set of holiday routes. Whether either makes the whole trip cheaper depends on the airfare and your dates.
Heathrow is roughly an hour and forty minutes and is the usual choice for long-haul. Gatwick is a similar time but a different direction, going east on the M27 rather than north on the M3. Luton and Stansted are longer runs of two hours or more and are normally booked when a specific low-cost route only flies from there.
If you are weighing up a cheaper flight from a further airport, it is worth asking us for both quotes before you book the flight. The transfer difference between Southampton and Stansted is substantial and sometimes cancels out the fare saving.
