King Taxi & Private Hire
Business travel

Corporate accounts and business travel.

For companies in the New Forest and across Hampshire that book travel often enough for paying per journey to be a nuisance. Executive vehicles, a known set of drivers, repeat bookings held in advance and invoicing arranged to suit your finance process.

Based in Brockenhurst, covering the New Forest

1 Sutton Place, Brockenhurst. We collect from every village in the forest, not just the base.

Licensed private hire operator

Licence 225, held by King Transfer, issued by New Forest District Council.

DBS checked drivers

Drivers are licensed by the council and enhanced DBS checked as a condition of that licence.

Fully insured

Private hire insurance is held on the vehicles we operate.

11+ active vehicles

Saloons, estates and six seaters, so a group booking does not usually depend on one car being free.

Repeat bookings held

A weekly airport run or a recurring client collection is held as a pattern rather than re-requested each time.

Invoicing to suit

Terms agreed when the account opens — PO references, cost centres or a single monthly statement.

Executive vehicles

Lexus, Volvo and Mercedes saloons and estates, with six seaters when the group needs one.

Licensed and insured

Operator licence 225, DBS checked drivers, private hire insurance on every vehicle.

Who this is actually for

Businesses that move people through this part of Hampshire more than occasionally: hotels arranging transfers for guests, companies bringing clients in to Southampton or Heathrow, venues handling conference arrivals, and firms whose staff make the same airport run every few weeks.

If you book two transfers a year, an account is overhead you do not need — request a quote like anyone else and it will cost you the same. The account exists to remove admin from repeat business, not to buy a discount.

Conference and site-visit arrivals

The awkward case is several people arriving separately within a short window — four flights into Southampton across ninety minutes, or a mix of rail arrivals at Brockenhurst and road arrivals at a venue. That needs more than one vehicle available at once, which is where a small operator has to say no.

Send the arrival list and we will work out the allocation. Where the timings genuinely will not meet, we will say so at quote stage rather than after you have committed to the schedule.

Account questions

What does having an account actually change?

You stop re-entering the same details. Regular journeys are booked from a known profile, the vehicles and drivers are familiar, and the travel is invoiced periodically rather than paid for one journey at a time. For a business booking one or two transfers a month it makes little difference; above that it removes a recurring piece of admin.

Can you invoice monthly?

That is the arrangement most account customers want. Terms are agreed when the account is set up rather than assumed, so tell us what your finance process needs — purchase order references, cost centres on the invoice, or a single monthly statement — and we will confirm what we can do before anything is booked.

Do you take repeat or scheduled bookings?

Yes. A weekly airport run, a recurring client collection or a standing arrangement for visitors are all straightforward once the pattern is known. Send the schedule and we will hold the slots rather than treating each one as a fresh request.

Which vehicles do you use for business travel?

Executive saloons and estates — a Lexus ES300h, a Volvo S90 or a Mercedes E220 Estate — for up to four passengers, and six seaters for larger groups. If a client is being collected, say so when booking and we will allocate accordingly.

Can you handle several passengers arriving separately?

Yes, and this is where a fleet of 11+ vehicles matters. Conference and site-visit work often means four or five separate arrivals within an hour, which is exactly the situation a one-car operator has to decline.
