We price every journey individually, because the New Forest is a big place: the same airport can be half an hour from one village and over an hour from another, and passengers and luggage decide the vehicle. Journeys for five to eight passengers need a six seater and are quoted with that vehicle in mind, because the right car depends on how passenger numbers and luggage combine rather than on the route alone.
What sets your price
Four things decide the fare: where you are collected, which airport you are travelling to, when the journey runs, and the vehicle your passengers and luggage need. A couple with hand luggage from Brockenhurst to Southampton and a family of six with ski bags from Milford on Sea to Luton are simply not the same job, and pretending one number covers both helps nobody.
The conditions attached to every quote are the same for everyone: quotes are one way, return journeys are priced separately, and airport drop-off or car park charges are never rolled in — where they apply they appear as their own line on the quote.

What is charged separately
- Airport drop-off charges. Most UK airports now charge for terminal drop-off; where one applies we itemise it on your quote.
- Car park pick-up charges on return transfers, for the same reason.
- The return leg. Every quote is one way unless both legs are requested together.
- Additional waiting beyond the free allowance, charged per 15 minutes.
- Meet-and-greet inside the terminal, if you want it. Ask and we will price it.
How the quote works

We check the route, the timing and the vehicle, then reply with one fixed figure including anything charged separately.
3. You decide
Nothing is committed until you accept. After that the price does not move, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup.

How much is a taxi from the New Forest to Heathrow?
It depends on where in the forest you are collected, the time of day and the vehicle your group needs, so we quote each journey individually rather than publishing a figure. Why don't you publish a price list?
Because a single figure would be honest for almost nobody. The forest is a big area: the same airport can be a short hop from one village and a much longer run from another, and passenger numbers and luggage change the vehicle. Rather than advertise a headline most people would not get, we price your actual journey and put it in writing.
Which airport is cheapest from the New Forest?
Southampton and Bournemouth are both around half an hour away and are the cheapest transfers from almost anywhere in the forest; Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted are long-distance runs and cost more. The transfer is only part of the total though — the airfare, baggage charges and your dates decide the rest. Ask us for quotes to more than one airport if you are still choosing a flight.
Is the quote per person or per car?
Per vehicle. A quote covers the car and everyone in it with their luggage, not a price each. Journeys for five to eight passengers need a larger vehicle and are quoted accordingly.
Is the return journey double the price?
Not necessarily. Every quote is one way, and a return is priced as its own journey — the timing, the day and the vehicle can all differ between the two legs. Send both legs in one request and we will price them together.
Do you charge more at night or at Christmas?
Time of day and date are part of what we consider when quoting, so a 03:00 departure or a bank holiday may price differently from a Tuesday afternoon. Whatever the figure is, you see it before you commit — there is no surcharge applied afterwards.
What happens if my journey turns out to be longer than quoted?
Nothing. Once you accept a quote that is the price you pay, even if the traffic is worse than expected on the day. The quote only changes if you change the journey.
