New Forest airport taxi prices.
A one-way airport transfer from the New Forest starts at £50 for Southampton or Bournemouth and £155 for Heathrow, in a Sedan or Estate carrying up to four passengers. Those are our lowest fares for each journey, from the part of the forest closest to that airport — where you are collected from sets your own price, and most journeys are quoted above them.

Airport fares from the New Forest
One way, Sedan or Estate, up to four passengers with luggage. Each figure is the lowest we publish for that journey.
| Airport | Code | Distance from base | Journey time | Our lowest published fare |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Gatwick Airport | LGW | around 93 miles | Approx. 1 hr 45 mins | £185 |
| Stansted Airport | STN | around 140 miles | Approx. 2 hr 35 mins | £230 |
| Luton Airport | LTN | around 120 miles | Approx. 2 hr 10 mins | £210 |
| Bournemouth Airport | BOH | around 19 miles | Approx. 35 mins | £50 |
| Southampton Airport | SOU | around 18 miles | Approx. 30 mins | £50 |
Journeys for five to eight passengers need a six seater and are quoted individually, because the right vehicle depends on how passenger numbers and luggage combine rather than on the route alone.
How your own price is worked out
The figures above are the lowest we publish for each journey. They apply from whichever part of the New Forest sits closest to that airport — so the Southampton and Bournemouth fares come from the north and west of the forest, and the Heathrow and Gatwick fares from the side nearest the M27.
Your own price starts there and moves with where you are collected from. Somewhere out towards Milford on Sea, Fordingbridge or the far side of Beaulieu is a longer run than the table assumes, and the quote will reflect it. We would rather show you the floor and be straight about that than publish an average nobody recognises.
Send the postcode with your request and the quote comes back with the actual figure for your address, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Areas we quote from
Brockenhurst, Lymington, Lyndhurst, Beaulieu, Sway, Boldre, Milford on Sea, New Milton, Rhinefield, Burley, Ashurst, Southampton Cruise Terminal, plus rural addresses, holiday cottages, hotels and wedding venues across the forest.
Get a price for your addressWhat the fare includes
- The journey itself, door to door, in the vehicle class quoted.
- A driver who knows the route and the pickup point.
- Free waiting: 10 minutes at an address, 45 minutes at an airport arrival, measured from landing.
- Flight monitoring on return transfers, where you have given us the flight number.
- Any change to the quote in writing before you travel.
What is charged separately
- Airport drop-off charges. Most UK airports now charge for terminal drop-off; where one applies we itemise it on your quote.
- Car park pick-up charges on return transfers, for the same reason.
- The return leg. Every fare on this page is one way.
- Additional waiting beyond the free allowance, charged per 15 minutes.
- Meet-and-greet inside the terminal, if you want it. Ask and we will price it.
How the quote works
1. You send the details
Pickup address, airport, date, time, passenger numbers and luggage. This is a request for a price, not a booking.
2. We price the journey
We check the route, the timing and the vehicle, then reply with one fixed figure including anything charged separately.
3. You decide
Nothing is committed until you accept. After that the price does not move, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup.
Pricing questions
How much is a taxi from the New Forest to Heathrow?
Our lowest one-way fare is £155 for a Sedan or Estate carrying up to four passengers, from the part of the forest closest to the route. Your own price starts from there and depends on where you are collected from, so most Heathrow journeys are quoted above it. Airport drop-off charges are added separately on the quote.
Is the price on this page what I will pay?
Not usually — it is the lowest we publish for that journey, not a typical price. It is a genuine figure that customers in the closest part of the forest pay, but if you are further out your quote will be higher. We publish the floor rather than an average because it is a number you can check us against, and the written quote is where you see your actual fare.
Which airport is cheapest from the New Forest?
Southampton and Bournemouth have the lowest transfer fares we publish, and both are around half an hour away. That is only part of the total though — the airfare, baggage charges and your dates decide the rest, so compare the whole trip rather than the transfer alone. Ask us for quotes to more than one airport if you are still choosing a flight.
Are these prices per person or per car?
Per vehicle. The guide fare covers a Sedan or Estate carrying up to four passengers with their luggage, not a price each. Journeys for five to eight passengers need a larger vehicle and are quoted individually.
Is the return journey double the price?
Not necessarily. Every fare here is one way, and a return is quoted as its own journey — the timing, the day and the vehicle can all differ between the two legs. Send both legs in one request and we will price them together.
Do you charge more at night or at Christmas?
Time of day and date are part of what we consider when quoting, so a 03:00 departure or a bank holiday may price differently from a Tuesday afternoon. Whatever the figure is, you see it before you commit — there is no surcharge applied afterwards.
What happens if my journey turns out to be longer than quoted?
Nothing. Once you accept a quote that is the price you pay, even if the traffic is worse than expected on the day. The quote only changes if you change the journey.
