Vehicles and capacity

What fits in which vehicle.

We run more than 11 active vehicles across three classes: executive saloons and estates for up to four passengers, and six seaters for larger groups. The right one for your journey depends on the luggage as much as the head count, which is why we ask for both.

Choosing the right one

The head count tells us the minimum vehicle. The luggage tells us the actual one. A couple flying long-haul with two large cases each needs the same car as a family of four with hand luggage, and neither of those is obvious from the number of passengers.

Five or more passengers

Needs a six seater. Five people do not fit in an estate however the luggage is arranged, so these journeys are quoted individually rather than from the fare table.

Cruise and long-haul luggage

Heavier and bulkier than a short-haul load. Give us the case count and rough size, not just the passenger count.

Child seats

Available on request with the children's ages, arranged at quote stage. A seat cannot be added on the morning.

Bulky equipment

Skis, golf carriers and pushchairs decide the vehicle on their own. Mention them in the quote request.

Vehicle questions

Will four people with four large suitcases fit in one car?

In an estate, yes. In a saloon it is tight and depends on the case sizes — two large cases plus hand luggage is a realistic saloon load. Tell us the case count when you request the quote and we will allocate an estate rather than hoping.

Can five passengers travel in one vehicle?

Yes, in a six seater. Five passengers do not fit in a saloon or an estate, so a group of five is a different booking and a different price from a group of four. Journeys for five to eight passengers are quoted individually.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, if you ask in advance. Tell us the ages of the children when you request the quote so the correct seat type can be confirmed and fitted before the driver sets off. We cannot add a child seat on the morning.

Can you carry skis, golf clubs or a pushchair?

Yes, but tell us before we quote. Bulky items decide the vehicle on their own — a pair of ski bags will fill an estate boot that would otherwise have taken four suitcases. It is far better to establish this at quote stage than at 04:00 on the day.

How many vehicles do you have?

More than 11 active vehicles across saloon, estate and six seater classes. That matters at the times everyone wants to travel at once — school holidays, summer weekends and the pre-dawn airport run.

Tell us the passengers and the bags.

We will match the vehicle and confirm the fare in writing before anything is booked.
